Monday Catch Up

Hi fam!  Hope you all had an amazing weekend.  We spent the weekend in colorado for Mara's lacrosse tournament. We roadtripped there on Friday and it had been so long since we did a roadtrip! I had never been to Colorado Springs before. It was a super quick trip, we came home on Sunday :) Mara did great in her tournament! I have my first colonoscopy this week. I know this is a really routine thing but people have been saying the prep for it is so bad that I've been really in my head stressing about it.  I posted something about it on instagram yesterday and its made me feel a lot better reading so many messages about it. The prep stressed me out because you can't eat for 2 days (never gone that long with out food haha) and have to be on a liquid diet...I'm halfway there!  So far it actually isn't as bad as I worried it would be but when I go to make the kids food their meals have never smelt better hahaha.  The Amazon Prime Day sale is coming tomorrow. Will be sharing some of my favorite deals soon - but two things I am most excited about going on sale are: this hair tool that I use and love, and these shorts I've had for years in multiple colors, they're so good!   Hope you have a great week ahead - thanks for being here! xx Christine my picks from the Nordstrom sale I put together a collage of the only things I would buy during the Nordstrom sale. The only things I put on this list are items I either already own and love or am planning on purchasing - there's only 11 items. Shoes are usually a great deal and coats! I also like to look at kids clothes. I have a skincare serum on here too thats expensive that I want to get while its only sale!   If I were to only pick one item to purchase, I would buy this. It's so beautiful!! Or these shoes but sizes are going fast. And if I was going to re-purchase something I own & love, I would stock up on these! pink floral dress I wore this long pink strapless floral dress to my niece's wedding last week and its under $150! You can get these party supplies in really any color you need for throwing your summer parties and it's all super affordable! legos I've been trying to do less screen time with my kids and we had a 9 hour road trip so I ordered this lego set. I liked that it comes with the little tray so it was easy for my boys to hold and build their legos in the car. I honestly was SHOCKED how long they played with these! Not exaggerating Ollie spent multiple hours building different ones. Beckam liked it too but I would say more in like 30 minute spurts for him.  men's dress pants Both Cody and Wes wore these navy dress pants  to my niece's wedding last week.
